A scenic outdoor site that overlooks the Cape Fear River. This shaded area located near the Beach House Bar and Grill and an arcade, stays relatively cool because of the breeze coming from either the river or the ocean. The camping area includes a common bath house, and a washer and dryer. Two 4 person tents or 8 people are the maximum allowed per site. Camping equipment and supplies are available at the Rental Center. If it is necessary to bring your pet you are responsible for keeping it quiet, on a leash at all times and picking up after it - no exceptions. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. Public beach access located on both northern and southern ends of the recreation area.
